Suunto D4 is one of the easiest and flexible diving computers arround. The user friendly interface makes it easy to navigate and check features like the dive depth, time spent underwater and the decompression level. And it works well in both regular and nitrox mode.
The alarm warns you when it’s time to ascent and in nitrox mode it allows you to stay underwater for longer periods of time than usual.
Suunto D4 is perfect if you want to stay longer underwater, its free dive function and dedicated free dive mode makes it easy for you to enjoy your dive without worrying about decompression. Suunto diving computers uses Deep Stop RGBM algorithm which enables it to calculate decompression times for an optimal and safe ascent. You can easily share and track your dives by uploading the dive data to your computer.
If you’re tired of the appearance you can always mix and match the color of the strap. Strap colors are available in blue, yellow, pink, white or black to further add a splash of color to your dive.
The absolute best feature of the Suunto D4 is that it is easy to operate and read because of its clear screen. It has a lot of functions that allows you to take your diving experience to a whole new level. It is best suited for recreation purposes and diving under warm water.
Suunto D4 was the first computer that I had purchased and I still am loving it. As of this moment of time I am using this as a backup. I have a Suunto Vyper computer and a console with max depth and air pressure. For my backup I am wearing a compass on my right wrist and D4 on my left. D4 is easy to use and is perfect for backup and even as a primary gadget together with other analogue gauges.
